Project management summary: The subject of the project is the development of a special measurement system that carries elements of innovation and a different perspective on the issue. The output of the project will therefore be software through which a measurement system for very fast processes in the field of impulse force measurement will be developed. The project will build on existing R&D experience in the field of terminal ballistics. The aim is to develop a device that will be able to perform very fast force measurements on strain gauge force transducers. The application will be suitable for the following sectors: crash tests of machines and their parts (including automotive, aerospace and other components where mechanical impact may occur) and simulation of impact processes at very high speeds of motion, measurement of dynamic force processes and mass growth.
