PERSONNEL CERTIFICATION FOR METROLOGICAL OPERATIONS

Personnel training and certification system for metrological operations has been established in the Czech Republic.
The certification is carried out by accredited certification bodies or by the CMI.

Two qualification levels are considered:

Metrological laboratory manager:
Qualification: technical or scientific university education or completed technical high school education and appropriate experience with duration of 1 year or 3 years respectively.

Staff member : able to carry out certified operations in the field of measuring instrument verification and calibration including documentation of all the performed operations.
Qualification: basic or high school education and appropriate experience with duration of 2 years or 1 year respectively. In case of university educated personnel the special training with duration of 2 months is necessary.

The CMI certification body (accreditation number 3034) certifies personnel for metrological operations  in following measurement fields(especially for legal measuring instruments):
