INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION OF THE CMI IN METROLOGY

The CMI is appointed to carry out all the duties consequent upon membership in international bodies and upon international arrangements and treaties (Metre Convention, CIPM MRA MRA).

Strategic target of the Czech metrology :

• Participation on the international cooperation and division of labour and on management of projects in metrology,
• creation of harmonized standards and regulation,
• assertion of development strategy in regional as well as in global horizon,
• systematic search for new information and improvement of skill and experience,
• systematic improvement of metrological traceability arrangements, participation on different types of international comparisons,
• extension of the CMI service to other EU member states using single market tools.
