METROLOGICAL CONTROL OF PRE-PACKAGES
labelled with "e" symbol

According to the Law on metrology the Czech Metrology Institute (hereafter the CMI) is assigned for issuing of certificates on metrological control of pre-packages labelled with "e" symbol.
The method of metrological control and certificate requirements are set by special decrees of the Department of Trade and Industry.

For this purposes the CMI:

• has drawn up control procedures established in metrological regulations and other documents:

-MP 004-01: Metrological control of pre-packages labelled with "e" symbol. General principles.

-MP 005-01: Metrological control of pre-packages labelled with "e" symbol. Requirements, methods and procedures for metrological control performance.

-Example of contract on pre-packages metrological control.

• has equipped special laboratories with instrumentation and trained personnel for pre-packages metrological controls

• on 01.04.2001 has commenced pre-packages metrological control performance
